Simulation-based executive development
See how your leadership team really operates. Then make it better.
High-impact business simulations reveal how decisions, information, and accountability move through your organization. Then we show you where to optimize it.
Built and led by operators, not trainers.
The problem
Strategy, tactics, execution.
Three different disciplines that are often discussed as one. Most leadership teams invest heavily in the first two.
- Strategy
Where to compete and how to win there. Multi-year, hard to reverse.
- Tactics
The specific, reversible moves inside that choice: a deal, a campaign, a hire.
- Execution
The daily discipline that makes tactics stick: process, systems, people delivering.
xSim lives in execution: the daily discipline that decides whether strategy and tactics turn into real results.
Approach
We don't hand you more tactics. We show you where the current ones break.
A live simulation places the team, with its real dynamics, in a compressed, high-stakes decision environment.
What surfaces there (who gets heard, what information goes missing, where priorities collide) is the same pattern already running in your business, just visible in hours instead of quarters.
- 01
Simulate complexity
Teams decide under real trade-offs, incomplete information and competing priorities.
- 02
Illuminate patterns
The exercise itself surfaces how information moves, where decisions bottleneck, and where hidden strengths already exist.
- 03
Activate insight
The debrief becomes a stress test and a working 90-day roadmap, not just a memory.
Boardroom-based. Reality-led. No travel, no outdoor production, no physical risk.
Capabilities
Six capabilities every leadership team depends on.
We don't assess individuals. We look at how the team operates together across six capabilities, with execution running through all of them.
01 Information
Communication & Information Flow
Are the right people getting the right information, at the right time, in a form they can act on?
02 Decision
Decision-Making Under Constraints
Can the team make high-quality decisions when time, money, information and people are limited?
03 Adapt
Adaptability, Risk & Response
Can the team recognize change and respond before it becomes a crisis?
04 Align
Cross-Functional Alignment & Collaboration
Can functions with different goals and incentives work toward one outcome?
05 Lead
Leadership, Delegation & Accountability
Can leadership capacity scale beyond the people at the top?
06 Customer
Customer-Centric Value Creation
Do our decisions actually create value for the people we serve?
Execute
Turning decisions into action, ownership and results. The thread that runs through all six.
Engagement
How an engagement works.
Every engagement is built around your team and starts with calibration, because a simulation is only as useful as the questions it is designed to test.
-
01
Calibrate
Once you give the go-ahead
- CEO discovery interview: a private 60 to 90 minute conversation about the business context, the team, and what meaningful improvement would look like.
- Executive Team Pulse: a confidential questionnaire of 10 to 15 minutes, completed by each member of the leadership team and separately by the CEO.
- Together they point to the one to four capabilities with the most leverage for your business right now.
-
02
Simulate
The Simulation Summit
- A half-day or full-day session with a sequence of simulations designed around your priorities.
- Each simulation moves closer to your real environment, so by the last one the team is no longer thinking about a game.
- Every debrief comes back to one question: where does this happen in our company?
- The day closes with a stress test of current plans and a 90-day roadmap with named owners.
-
03
Integrate
After the room
- A concise report for the CEO: what the team told us, what surfaced in the simulations, where perception and behavior diverge, and the highest-priority opportunities.
- Check-ins against the 90-day roadmap, so the lessons become habits rather than the memory of a good day.
Inside a simulation
Business problems, under pressure, with no easy answer.
Low-prop, business-first exercises built from real operating situations. Paper, markers, a timer, and a decision that matters.
Decision-making under constraints
The $100M Decision
One major investment, one choice, and the board will not approve splitting the money. The team must agree on criteria, assumptions, risk and opportunity cost before time runs out.
Customer-centric value creation
Customer Rescue
A major account threatens to leave after a service failure. Sales, product, engineering, finance and customer success each have a legitimate view, and the team has one decision to make.
Communication & information flow
Blind Builder
One person can see the target design. Another handles the materials. Everyone else has to make information move. It rarely moves the way people expect.
Execution & accountability
The Perfect Meeting
An unexpected opportunity, a leadership meeting and confidential role briefs. Does the meeting end with a decision, owners and deadlines, or with another meeting?
Most simulations run 60 to 75 minutes including the debrief and are designed for leadership teams of about 5 to 15 people.
Why xSim
Built by operators, not instructors.
Many facilitators are former fighter pilots, career trainers or academics. Valuable perspectives, but mostly from outside the organizations they work with. We have run them.
The simulations aren't borrowed case studies. They're built from what actually broke, and how it got fixed.
Delivered in Hebrew, English, or both.
50+
years of combined operating experience
Operating P&Ls, integrating mergers, rebuilding service floors and leading AI transformations, under real deadlines with real consequences.
Confidentiality
Candor depends on trust.
- Individual Pulse responses are never shown to the CEO or to other participants.
- Findings are reported as team-level themes and aggregates.
- Where a group is too small to protect anonymity, it is not reported separately.
- The purpose is to understand how the team operates, not to evaluate individual executives.
Working together
Two ways to work with us.
Single engagement
Half-day or full-day
Calibration, a Simulation Summit tailored to your priorities, and a 90-day roadmap you leave with.
Ongoing partnership
Built around your calendar
Quarterly alignment and simulation sessions, executive coaching and onboarding integration, and facilitation when a crisis hits.
What waiting costs
Weekly C-suite hours lost to alignment meetings. One executive exit and rehire. One lost client or missed SLA. Think about what an ineffective quarterly review already costs you.
FAQ
Questions leadership teams ask.
Is this team-building?
No. There are no ropes, no outdoor production and no trust falls. The exercises are business problems under pressure, and every debrief ends in decisions about how your team operates.
Where does it take place?
In your boardroom, an off-site meeting room or a hotel conference room. Setup is minimal.
In which language?
Hebrew, English, or a mix of both, depending on your team.
Who should take part?
The leadership team that makes decisions together, typically the CEO and direct reports. Most simulations are designed for about 5 to 15 participants.
How much of the CEO's time does it take?
A 60 to 90 minute discovery interview, completing the Pulse, the Simulation Summit itself, and a review of the findings afterward.
Are individual executives evaluated?
No. Pulse responses are confidential and reported only as team-level themes. We look at how the team works together, not at individual performance.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope: the size of the team, the length of the session and whether you want ongoing support. After an initial conversation we send a clear proposal.
How do we start?
Request a briefing below. We will arrange a short conversation to understand your situation and show you how an engagement would work for your team.
